All dog lovers are invited to help continue creating the Carolina Pines Dog Park near the ball fields at Carolina Pines Civitan Park (2305 Lake Wheeler Road) on Saturday, August 18th, from 8:30am to Noon. The last volunteer day was a great success, and we look forward to having an even better day this time. The harder we work, the sooner dogs and dog owners will be able to enjoy the space amongst the trees. There will be activities suitable for people of all abilities and ages, so bring your family and your friends, but please leave your four legged friends at home until the park is ready. Sturdy footwear (tennis shoes work fine) and proper attire (they may get a little dirty) are highly recommended.
