The 2008 SmartCommute Challenge is a public service campaign sponsored by Triangle Transit (TTA) and SmartCommute@rtp that addresses air quality and traffic congestion in the Triangle. Employees and college students in Orange, Durham, and Wake counties who take the Challenge to try a smarter commute are eligible to win great prizes, including the Grand Prize: two airline tickets to anywhere in the continental U.S. and a week-long hotel stay in the destination city.
