As mentioned last week, I wanted to outline several project idea’s to help unite and strengthen our neighborhood. Here is the first one:
#1 Getting the Alliance organized. I think there are at least three pieces:
- Getting to know all the neighborhoods by getting contacts established for each neighborhood. Goal: have a publicly available contact (primary and secondary) for each neighborhood available via lineberry.org.
- Growing the email list by spreading the word and creating awareness about the Alliance from each neighborhood association. Goal: Double the number of recipients on the list by December 2008.
- Create neighborhood profiles at lineberry.org to “advertise” each neighborhood, it’s unique characteristics, to promote the reasons why we live here. Goal: attract good home owners, active landlords, and quality renters.
