From the City of Raleigh E-Newsletter:
BICYCLE ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO DISCUSS DRAFT PLAN

The City of Raleigh Bicycle Advisory Committee will have a meeting to accept public comment on a draft comprehensive bicycle plan for the Capital City. The meeting will be held Nov. 5 at 4 p.m. in Room 809 at One Exchange Plaza, located at 219 Fayetteville St.

Members of the Bicycle Advisory Committee were appointed by the City Council to oversee development of the comprehensive bicycle plan. The City’s original bicycle plan was adopted in 1991 and subsequently incorporated in the City’s Comprehensive Plan. The new comprehensive bicycle plan will include a thorough update of the original plan and provide an integrated, seamless transportation framework to facilitate cycling as a viable transportation alternative throughout Raleigh.
