CITY OF RALEIGH FIRE DEPARTMENT BEGINS CHILD SAFETY SEAT INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAM

The City of Raleigh Fire Department is offering a child safety seat instructional program designed to teach area residents the proper installation of a child safety car seat.

The 30-minute one-on-one tutoring appointments are offered from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. Area residents may schedule an appointment by calling the City of Raleigh Fire Department at 831-6586 or by registering online. An appointment will be scheduled at one of five strategically located firehouses on the earliest available date.

The program is designed to educate the individual in the proper installation procedures. Raleigh Fire Department personnel will not perform any installations.
