DDNA Sets 2030 Focus Group Dates

December 9th, 2008 by Jason Hibbets

Please save the following dates for our kickoff meetings. In order to try and gather before the holiday season, we’d like to piggy back off of the RCAC meeting to take advantage of meeting space, maps, resources, etc. Next week is an RCAC (Raleigh Citizens Advisory Council) meeting on December 17. Then after the new year, there is a public briefing of the draft 2030 Comprehensive Plan on January 8 that we’d like folks to attend. We will have our team leads organized by these meetings and ready to help guide the focus groups in the review of the 2030 Comprehensive Plan.

December 17, 2008 – 6:30-7:00 p.m. | 7:15 p.m.
Focus Groups will meet from 6:30-7:00 p.m., Room 303
Raleigh Citizen Advisory Council at 7:15 p.m., Room 305
Avery C. Upchurch Government Complex | 222 W. Hargett Street

January 8, 2009 – 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Raleigh Urban Design Center
133 Fayetteville Street

More details to follow. Again if you are interested in joining one of our five focus groups (Arts and Culture, Environmental Protection, Parks & Greenways, Transportation Systems, and Urban Form & Land Use) contact Jason Hibbets with your name, email, and group you’re interested in.
