Most of you may already know about this but here is the brief article from WRAL's web site:
Two shooting victims taken to hospital
Posted: Today at 12:25 p.m.
Raleigh, N.C. — Raleigh police responded to a report of a shooting Thursday morning at 1911-106 Orchard Hollow Way. They found a man and a woman with gunshot wounds, spokesman Jim Sughrue said.
Both victims were taken to an area hospital. No further information about the incident was available.

I grew up around here and Lineberry road is named after my family. My great-great grandfather, James Alpheus Lineberry built the house at the corner of Lake Wheeler and Lineberry road in the mid-20’s and that is how the road got it’s name. This area has always been relatively safe and was not like this before. The Orchard Point neighborhood has been allowed to become a unsafe, undesirable group to live near. I have reported shots being fired about 12 different times by calling 911 and also there was someone caught selling a large bag of pot beside my house. I was told by one of the officers who called me back to get more information after making a complaint about gun shots late one night, that they are aware of the problem in Orchard Point and they get complaints on a regular basis. There has not been anything done and now today there was more violence. I have had enough and am ready to see the city take more aggressive action to try to address this issue. We can either complain about this situation among ourselves or we can do something about it. I will be contacting city officials and I would encourage you all to do the same. We have to let them know that this type of behavior will not be tolerated here any longer and we want something done about it. If they hear enough voices, things will change.
