Raleigh, NC – The Pleasant Ridge & Ramsgate Community Watch, building a safe and informed family community, is continuing to make preparations for this years National Night Out™ event on August 4, 2009 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. What started out as a watermelon social several years ago has blossomed into an annual event where neighbors get a chance to meet the men and woman who work from the Fire, Police, and EMS departments in our area.
Children (5th grade and younger) can win prizes in our costume contest. Watermelon, cake, and goody bags will be provided. Be there for your chance to win door prizes or take a chance in our cake raffle.
Bring a neighbor! Make a small donation to the Pleasant Ridge & Ramsgate Community Watch program (non-profit organization) while your there. Come out and have a good time.
