THE CITY OF RALEIGH is revamping its development code in the form of a Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). The UDO seeks to translate Raleigh’s goals and aspirations for the built environment, as set forth in the recently adopted 2030 Comprehensive Plan, into clear code standards that produce a predictable built form. The Diagnostic & Approach Report highlights inconsistencies and gaps between the current regulations and the recently adopted 2030 Comprehensive Plan, and identifies approaches and solutions for the new code.
- ATTEND one of the three upcoming Learning and Review Sessions. Your questions about the Diagnostic & Approach Report and related suggestions will help the City and its consultants prepare a UDO that facilitates quality development throughout Raleigh.
- HEAR a presentation on the recently released Diagnostic & Approach Report and next steps in the public process.
- LEARN about key recommendations from the report ranging from creating vital mixed use places to protecting natural resources.
- DISCUSS suggestions and comments in an extended Question and Answer session.
Hosted by the City of Raleigh. For more information contact Christine Darges at 919-516-2634 or christine.darges@ci.raleigh.nc.us
