URBAN REVITALIZATION EXPERT TOM MURPHY TO SPEAK AT SIR WALTER RALEIGH AWARDS CEREMONY, OCT. 7
Tom Murphy, three-term mayor of the city of Pittsburgh and a nationally recognized expert on urban revitalization, will be the featured speaker at the 2010 Sir Walter Raleigh Awards for Community Appearance. The City-sponsored award ceremony, which is free and open to the public, will be held on Thursday, Oct. 7, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in Downtown Raleigh.
